Fear and anxiety about the future, past pain, trauma, and broken relationships threaten to steal our joy and peace. I believe life is hard and messy sometimes, but also a journey and a process worth enjoying. I believe we all have the resources within ourselves to overcome these challenges and sometimes we just need another person to help us see that.

As a counselor, I love coming alongside individuals and couples as they overcome life's obstacles, calm anxiety, and bring joy and meaning back to their lives and relationships. I encourage self-discovery and help my clients uncover the resources, empowerment, and solutions they have within themselves. I teach practical tools and skills that help clients live more fully in their day-to-day lives.

In addition to counseling, I run an online Christian life and health coaching business where I help women navigate weight loss, health issues, ministry, relationships, career challenges, motherhood, and their mental, physical, relational, and spiritual health. I believe in a holistic approach where you can bring balance to all areas of life.

As a therapist, I want to walk with clients through the journey of LIFE — helping them overcome hurdles and the waves that just come and go throughout the years. Together, I believe we can find solutions and new ways of viewing life’s challenges, and ways to find day to day JOY!

I am interested in doing very practical, effective, yet caring work. I believe change requires hard work. I will give direct feedback, ideas, resources and assignments but, ultimately, you are responsible for writing the story of your life. I value honesty and authenticity in the therapeutic process; while that process may not be easy, the rewards will certainly be worthwhile. I believe in finding laughter, joy, and new meaning in life through this therapeutic journey.

I approach therapy as a team effort. I want to walk beside you to help you process challenging situations. I use humor and a laid back perspective knowing that we all have areas of struggle and we are in this together.

I work from a Christian perspective but do not assume my clients want spiritual interventions. I honor my clients' beliefs.

I practice from a casual, comforting, and non-judgmental mindset. I have worked for over 20 years in church environments, spending many years as a youth pastor.
